Issa Vibe: A Sneak Peek of My Yoga Playlist

When I was introduced to yoga, I  believed that there was some unwritten rule that you had to practice to soft instrumentals, and nature sounds. I now know that there are no rules and you simply have to do what makes your soul feel good. Here are a few songs that I enjoy flowing to.

This is me Keela Settle

I love to start my morning practice with this. Not only was it the theme song  for a great film (The Greatest Showman) but it’s so unapologetic and empowering. This song puts my confidence on ten! I truly feel like I can conquer the world when I listen to it.

Boo’d Up Ella Mai

Its no question that this is a hot song but, tell me what’s better than flowing threw a sequence just as Ella Mai hits you with that “Feeeelinnngssssss, So Deep in my feelings“.  It has such a nineties R&B, feel good music vibe.  Definitely one of my favs!

Life Ain’t Always Beautiful Gary Allan

This song reminds me to be thankful and leave all my worries on that mat. No matter what we go through, life is a blessing and should be cherished.

 Why I Love You Major

I feel this song in my spirit! Sometimes I just lay on my mat and take it in. An absolutely beautiful ballad.

Drake – Nice For What Lyrics

As as a true Drake fan I  honestly don’t feel he could put out a bad record but this one is pure fire!  A true ladies anthem! I would be lying if say I don’t twerk a little mid pose listening to this.

Just Listen

I hope that you will take a moment to check these out. What are you vibing to? I would love to add some of your favorites  to my playlist.

  1. Yes! There is no reason we should be limited to how we practice yoga. For me, I really like listening to Jhene Aiko when practicing.
